Respiratory Therapist
Description:
Performs professional Cardiopulmonary duties by hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administrating respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiopulmonary procedures.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: 6-months experience preferred. Experience in EKG
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Currently Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Alabama. BLS certification within 90 days of hire required. ACLS/PALS Certification within 12 months of hire is desired.
